She was later accepted into Yorkshire Young Musicians, a specialist music service based in Leeds College of Music, and began learning with Rachel Dent. In 2014, Kathryn received an entrance scholarship to the Royal Northern College of Music, and moved from Wakefield to Manchester to begin studying with Eira Lynn Jones. I am very flexible with venues: for a smaller, more intimate venue I can bring a clarsach (smaller lever harp.) Rascallity not only seeks to explore new and obscure classical repertoire for two harps, but also creates original arrangements and compositions which fuse elements of jazz, Latin, folk and world music. Furthermore, Kathryn has performed repertoire with and arranged music for a variety of different ensembles, including Duo Marsi (flute and harp,) the Marisca Trio (saxophone, cello and harp,) and an oboe/cor anglais and harp duo.
